EXCITING UPDATE!! – Google AI Professional Certificate is now available on Coursera
The Google AI Professional Certificate is now available to the UMBC community through our Coursera license program.
As AI fluency becomes a core expectation across industries, this new certificate program is designed to help learners build practical, job-ready AI skills that employers are actively seeking.
Recent research from Ipsos and Google shows:
- 70% of managers believe an AI-trained workforce is critical to success
- Only 5% of the workforce is currently considered “AI fluent”
This certificate moves beyond introductory AI concepts and focuses on real-world applications. Learners will complete 20+ hands-on projects and develop a portfolio demonstrating applied AI skills.
